The world
The Great Transposition Show, 1905
A touring Edwardian illusion company whose stage tricks genuinely work: anything sent into a spiral aperture is replaced by something from another reality, and whatever it displaced is now somewhere else. Every aperture looks the same wherever it opens, a flat spiral of concentric cobalt bands around a pale core, its outer edge torn like wet paper. The company are working people in wool suits, waistcoats, aprons and rubber boots, and the machinery is Edwardian: brass, riveted iron, varnished wood, canvas, painted plaster, silvered glass, rope and solder. Nothing is polished, futuristic or ancient; it is a poor travelling show held together by rope and nerve.

How it plays
Polymorph control in four colours. Jace's minus ability exiles one of your own small creatures and digs down your library until it hits something enormous, so a Faerie token becomes Elesh Norn, Jin-Gitaxias, Toxrill or Valgavoth for three loyalty. Polymorph, Transmogrify and Transpose do the same trick from hand, cheap counterspells and one-mana removal keep the table still while you set it up, and Jace's plus ability keeps the cards coming. Built from a proven decklist with over 19,000 views and 124 likes. The full decklist is in the photos.
